We are rearing mosquitoes, in the standard conditions with a plastic pan, treamin fish food and level of mineral water between 1.5 to 3 cm depending of the stadium. Quantities of food range from 60 to 120 mg depending of the larvae stadium. Larvae are fed twice a day. But from time to time we detected mortality of larvae at the end of the L4 stadium, meaning before they started to pupate. We do not know why this is happening. Any thoughts?
