Does anyone design a SAN?

SAN(Storage Area Network) is a very big and fast reading writing data that can store any data with high security, reliability, speed and confidence. I wanna design an architecture for this issue that can store 100TB data with 800 MBps (8 Gbps) speed. for starting I wanna use software simulation (vmware, freeNAS, OpenE or any other software that you know).
