The publisher behind “Engineering Physics (EP)” is Science Publishing Group (SciencePG). This publisher is mentioned in the Beall’s list of potential predatory publishers (https://beallslist.net). This is a red flag and there are more:

-Indexing info (https://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/journal/indexing?journalid=290 ) mentions Eurasian Scientific Journal Index, an example of a so-called misleading metric (https://beallslist.net/misleading-metrics/ )

-APC (https://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/journal/apcs?journalid=290 ) of 1670 USD is ridiculously high for an essentially non-indexed journal

-This publisher is not discussed positively here http://flakyj.blogspot.com/search?q=sciencePG
