I am supposed to research on the failure of OHS strategy implementation during the construction process. I was wondering which aspect of quantitative method might be more applicable.
I did some readings about OHS in tourism enterprises in the near past. I am now answering your question with this knowledge and from organizational perspective (e.g. not national level). After my readings I found 8 sub-dimensions about OHS: (1) Individual responsibility, (2) health and safety rules, (3) correct work procedures, (4) Employee orientation&training, (5) workplace inspections, (6) Reporting and investigating accidents, (7) Emergency procedures, (8) Medical and first aid.
Some reasearchers think about 10 or more sub-dimensions. I am really not sure about OHS's sub-dimensions. But when i thinking about measuring OHS, actually, i have looked from qualitative perspective. In-depth interviews, secondary datas etc. But in a study about construction sector OHS, resarchers measured it with a quantitative aproach. I added this study below. Maybe you can interest.
