I'am not experienced in the field, but maybe this book will help as a general overview from a therapeutic view point:

If you look for more specific interventions like bibliotherapy, I guess this article is a good starting point: Brewster, L. (2009). Books on prescription: Bibliotherapy in the United Kingdom. Journal of Hospital Librarianship, 9(4), 399-407.

Yes, in Germany you can eat your heart out. In Germany they are advanced in this subject. I always use the journal Der Merkurstab. For art therapy you could use as search term 'Künstlerischen Therapie' and then try to find a translated version? Great advice ms. Eberhard Kaechele gave! Good luck!

I wrote a book that describes therapies and healing techniques of psycho-mental and cognitive-intellectual disorders by manual tasks, of painting, of dance, neural gymnastics, with great effects on healing and balances as they activate the biophysical functions and psycho-physical, emotional and affective involvements.
