The picture was taken in the Colombian Amazon. The location of the picture is around Leticia in Colombia and the fruit was hanging most probably from a vine.
I think your image shows the slightly rotten infructescence of a Calathea (cf. altissima) species (Maranthaceae). This is not a vine but a perennial herb.
I assumed it was vine because the rotten peduncle was hanging from above and though I could trace the parental stem up to the canopy I could not detect any other element of the plant.
When I asked my guide ( of Ticuna tribe ) he refused to give me a native name for the plant or any utilization
