Does anybody know some rapid way for the biochemical identification of heterotrophic marine bacteria?

I want to isolate and to determine bacteria from the intestine of sea bass.

FACS sorting? Basically using hybridization of DNA oligos to detect specific taxa in your sample and then potentially sorting them. The cells will be fixed in the process though, so culturing will not be a possibility. Hope that helps a bit!
