For a industry research project we can get distribution grid models which they have modeled in PowerFactory. We would like to work with the models in OpenDSS and Matlab and of course would like to spare remodeling the grids in the software. I can't find anything online to achieve this.
Has anybody achieved exporting from PowerFactory to OpenDSS? Maybe even a self written script to achieve this which he/she is willing to share?

maybe i can help you but need more explanation what you want exactly!
Well, so the partner is a distribution grid operator and has parts of their distribution grid (low voltage ring - basically a few streets) modeled in DIgSILENT PowerFactory 15.1 which they want to provide to use. Our goal is to import the grid properties such as line lenghts, line materials, phases, etc., so that we can conduct our research which we want to to in OpenDSS in combination with Matlab. There we want to connect it to load data also provided by the grid operator and do basically power flow analysis for different scenarios.
The partner basically sent us a few example export files. Next to imag formats there is one *.xls format, one *.pfd and one text format which says it's UCTE.
So basically optimally some exporter I would imagine generates the script which sets up the OpenDSS model. Or there is a third tool which can import any of these and export something for OpenDSS.
You know any way?
Develop a logic which can import data from .xls file to matlab then fed them into OpenDSS through DSSText.Command using COM interfacing.
