Equivalent applications are available for almost everything you might want to use, and for the occasional Windows application you can use Wine (a Windows emulator/API translator for Linux) or VirtualBox (a virtual machine which you can use to run a copy of Windows when you need it).

@ Danial: I already heard about Linux and its safety but I feel comfort with windows and I am looking for to improve my difficulty with windows 8.

@ peter: I am looking for solution. The problem is that I can not update my windows. To explain more, I bought it a few month ago, and at the first time when it ask me for updating, I confirmed but then my hang out and its keyboard became out of order for a while (Why? i don't know). After that it always update imperfectly. another problem is that when it ask for promotion windows 8 to 8.1 and I confirm the message comes: sorry your country is not eligible (As I heard from my friend because Iran in under sanction we can not update original windows! amazing! we can pay for it but we can not...). Meanwhile, I can not use some of other application like MP4 for video.

Many people here buy computer without windows and then download it through the Internet but they encounter difficulty when they want go out of country. So to avoid this problem I bought the original one and now have new problem. So, I need to know what can I do? Are these problem usual? Thanks in advances.

I'm not sure how you would be able to legally obtain a copy of Windows 8 anyway, since I think the export of Windows would be prohibited by the current sanctions against Iran (although hopefully this will change soon). I am pretty sure Microsoft is not able to sell directly to you; perhaps you purchased it from someone who imported a legitimate (licensed) copy from Dubai or elsewhere. So your only real options are (a) don't update it, and be at risk of security problems, (b) reinstall the OS if it has become unstable, but then you're stuck with Windows 8; or (c) use some other operating system. Linux really isn't difficult to use these days, has excellent Farsi support (I know quite a few Iranians that use Linux, including my wife :-), it works on most hardware, and is far less likely to have problems with spyware/malware trying to steal your information). It is also an excellent platform for scientific research.

If you don't want any of these options, your only other choice is to circumvent the VPN filtering in Iran, get a VPN account in some other country and do your software updates through that. This would of course be illegal in Iran... and it may not be straightforward to pay for a VPN service from Iran unless you have family overseas who can set it up etc. etc. But this may be the only way.

There are some solutions that I refer to easiest way used in Iran and embargoed countries!If you have windows OS, you can use of an activator for your windows.You may find it in many persian sites such as soft98.ir or p30download.com etc.

after correct activation, press win key + pause(break) to check system properties and the message "windows is activated" at bottom of that window.

you can also send me message at LMS site of university for other solutions.

Have you ever checked your windows activation message (as I told you)? Don't forget that it may occur sometimes for some activated windows oses!

If you had seen the "activation message" you have to make your system's IP anonymous with some filter breakers such as freegate (download  fg750p.exe ) or hotshield etc Or purchase a VPN account.Remind it that if we don't suppose these softwares are adwares, they will use more bandwidths than regular internet usages and it is better to kill their tasks( with r-click on it's icon and exit...). after you upgrated your Os and it's apps.
