Dear all,
I am looking for studies coupling experimental and demographic models simulating global change scenarios. For example, studies measuring the effect of temperature on the survival of individuals in controlled aquariums, and then incorporate that data in demographic models (such as matrix population models). I would prefer studies on the marine environment; however, given their scarcity I am also opened to terrestrial ones.

However, I am specifically looking for data that come from experimental aquaria in climate change scenarios introduced into matrix models or IPM simulations. I think that all the papers you suggested are based on field data.

Then I don't see the problem:) If you have a relationship, eg a certain omnivore/grazer/plant consume resources or replicate depending on say temperature/acidification, then you can include this relationship into whichever model you choose. Either you have enough data points and fit a suitable function to these data points or you use a stepping stone approach with threshold levels determining a set consumption (using this example). In my (not so cited) temporal mismatch study I used seagrass experiment data for growth of algae that had been caged on the bottom the seafloor to exclude grazers but keep most other factors unaffected. Then I used replication/birth rate data for the grazer from aquaria experiments with unlimited food, etc. I then incorporated these functions into my model (which contained a bunch of other types of data as well) and pressed enter... I think there are much better examples out there but when I was in the game I was always struggling to find good modelling studies based on detailed data, modellers are all for generalisations. Anyway, I hope this helps.

Great topical question! We did a review and proposed a theoretical framework to test about body size, temperature, metabolic rate, development, survivorship, and climate change - but it was just a review of the literature and synthesis for testing.
