We are performing a vlsm analysis on lesion data and several behavioral predictors and I am looking for insights on how to interpret the different outputs in MRIcron. Thanks!
Hi, the result output file and thresholding depends on what VLSM software you are using (e.g. NPM, NiiStat). For example, in NPM, the output text file gives out different t-values for Bonferroni, FDR etc. corrected results. In MRIcron, this t-value, whatever statistical correction method you use, is the value you input in the left (minimum) box. The right (maximum) box can be what you desire as it mostly affects the color intensity or the scale in continuous coloured options for overlays. You open the VLSM results by first loading a template (e.g. ch2bet) and then add the desired results (nii-file) as overlay. Then adjust the t-values as above if needed.
I have attached a link to my publication using VLSM in stroke patients investigating lesion patterns associated with amusia (and aphasia) if it is of any help method-wise.
