I believe ODEON is not efficient in simulating the articulation of a surface. Any other software suggestions which can simulate edge diffraction as well?
As far as I can remember, ODEON struggles to model surfaces with the smaller dimensions under 0.5 m. Generally speaking, geometrical acoustic software are not adequate to model diffraction effects, as they are low-frequency related. You may try switch to finite element modelling, or better fdtd. I tried simulate a diffuser in a large room and I combared Odeon results with measurments. I found that Odeon can not simulate small geometries in a large room
