I am writing an article about L2 students' challenges with language and content area learning in Civics classrooms. Civics education as a school subject in primary schools is my focus. Most literature I find is about Social studies in general but seldom about Civics in particular. Any idea where I can find related publications within my focus area? I have mainly looked at ERIC.

Basically, civic and social studies are the same, Social Studies is the modern given name on the subject.
