I want to know if any methods exists in some countries by which they monitor Non Governmental Organisations such as listing them in terms of which NGO had better impacts like the Stock Exchange does in Financial terms.
I am advising a PhD student who is working on NGOs' performance versus leadership traits. However, what you seek has to be researched since you have to define which impacts you are interested in. Maybe you may find information within the reports of the European Union or IMF which support NGOs work and performance because they provide funding.
Are you thinking in terms of cost-benefit analysis of NGO productivity? The journals below focus on benchmarking NGO results. I have also attached a funding criteria, from the government of Canada, to provide contextual expectations:
