I read the following newspaper article which talks about a recent development by the scientists of Central Leather Research Institute. The Scientists have developed a shoe sole which can resists a high temperature up to 250 degrees Celsius. 

Can such a technology be used in developing heat resistant automobile tires?

Has anyone of you done some work in this field?
