some studies have demonstrated in vitro that activated charcoal can adsorb aflatoxins. more citations would help me have evidence to the scientific claim
There are a number of products that can be incorporated into the ration of dairy cows to prevent mycotoxins from being taken up (absorbed) by the gastrointestinal tract. These prevent the accumulation of mycotoxins in milk. Many of the products are added to stored silages or grains so that there is a long period of time for the mycotoxins to be absorbed before the feeds are consumed. Feeding charcoal to cows that have consumed mycotoxins can reduce the amount in their milk, but this depends on the amount of mycotoxins consumed. In many countries, food safety laws prevent the sale of milk with mycotoxin levels above some fairly low thresholds.
