Yes, my colleagues and I have used items based on QUIS statements in estimating user satisfaction in usability testing.  We always note in our reports that user satisfaction often departs from user-performance results, as documented in the literature.  If the user thinks that he/she has done well on the task set, he/she will typically report high satisfaction, even when actual performance results are low or average.  A satisfaction questionnaire should never be used as the only measure.  It should be combined with measures of actual performance (e.g., speed and accuracy).
