Often known as the prosperity gospel, Word-Faith theology is represented by Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Joseph Price, Creflo Dollar, and a host of other popular preachers that you can watch on TBN. I have argued that Word-Faith theology departs in significant respects from historic Christian teachings. Are these departures sufficient grounds for saying that Word-Faith theology is not genuinely Christian, or should we recognize Word-Faith as a new but legitimate Christian modality?

Jesus was in his earthly life alluding to a unique and direct relationship with his God the Father, but the mystery of the Divine Providence was not fully revealed to the disciples except in the risen Christ from the dead, and all the titles of sovereignty and the names and attributes of divinity And the dignity, in which the first Church expressed its faith in the person of Jesus Christ (the Lord, the Son of God, the incarnate God) derives its strength and acquires its meaning from the faith in resurrection.
Jesus lived on the earth three people as we mentioned above. He lived the daughter of Jairus. He also raised the only young man of his mother in the town of Nain, and also Lazarus of Bethany. (Jesus the Son), but after their resurrection they died again by virtue of the corruption of their nature. But Christ rose from the dead in a unique way that was not preceded by any other. Jesus said that he raised himself, and this is clear from his words: "The Jews answered and said any sign to show us to do this, Jesus answered and said to them: Of this temple, and in three days I will raise it, the Jews said in forty-six years to build this temple, canst thou in three days?
And he said about the temple of the flesh, and when he rose from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this. "John (2: 18-22), but he stated this when he said:" Therefore the Father loves me because I am putting myself to take them, But I put them of my own, I have the power to put them and I have the power to take them also, "John (10:17).
Therefore, this unique resurrection is a shining proof that Christ is God (2).
Perhaps one way of assessing this is "Can the teachings of a group be seen to embrace the basis of orthodox Christianity established in the Nicene Creed?" If so, then it is likely a variant modality of legitimate Christianity.
No, the Word-Faith movement does not embrace all the tenets of the Nicene Creed. They hold that the born-again believer is a "little god" possessing "the very nature of God." So if we use the ecumenical confessions as a criterion, then the Word-Faith movement is out.

Kirk, I agree that the teachings of the Word-Faith movement are not consistent with the tenets of the Nicene Creed and therefore cannot be considered a legitimate variant of Christian theology.
