Is Thomson Reuters JCR fair enough to judge the citation of all global journals. How the journals are selected. Why only Thomson Reuters impact factor? It may be possible that an individual paper in any journal not having any impact factor have more citation than any journals annual citations having TR Impact factor. Sadly (!) the only way to judge the value of a research paper is to read it. Then again, its real worth may only be realised many years later.

The quality of a paper is judged by its content. The external factors like citations in IF journals catalogued in Thompson Reuters cannot be always trusted. Best regards
There must some evaluation to keep the quality of research work. Clarivate analytics (Thomson Reuters) is one of them. The evaluation of impact factor forces the journal to keep their quality. As we know, good papers are getting high citations and impact factor is evaluated by citation. This is the reason, ISI journals are tough compared to other database.

Ever never enough to value a paper on the basis of Thomson Reuters impact factor. But must be valued after carefully reading and discussion it with some professionals. I have seen many papers published in relatively high impact factor but all its included discussions and conclusions are wrong
Thank you all for your suggestions and views but this is the fact that we follow impact factor race. Don't know what to do with this system. You have many citations for your paper but that journal don't have impact factor so your research is of no value. This is the fact and many of you must have realized it.
