No, I Don't think so. As Engineering and Medical courses are itself professional courses.
Not B Ed or M Ed.Yes, Medical and Engineering are professional field, nonstop advancement is in progress, hence with higher study in M.D/E or Ph D the specialization could be reached with specific advancement in special professional field like latest design and diagnostic software even for equipment trouble shooting , and is needed to gave proper justification to subjects, hence yes, or experience mechanic could have considered as mechanical engineer......

Not at all, It is better to proceed with PhD in engineering rather than pursuing BEd, MEd courses for engineers.

M.Ed is not required for lectures in engineering, actually engineering (UG and PG) itself contains projects seminars and viva etc.. And it not only teaching, it includes practical orientation as well as application demonstration.
