I think medical students can make the community aware about COVID-19 if they are well groomed about the entire gamut of the disease. Much of the myths in the community can be taken care of by them. They can be useful tool for IEC activity in the community- be urban or rural.
I believe that all health professionals can be involved. Also OpenWHO provide free online training to health professionals on a wide range of topics.
All healthcare workers and students are crucial in suppressing SARS-CoV-2 transmission including community health care workers and those who have recovered from the disease
I think medical and nursing students can be of help in to awareness of corona infection in rural and urban area. The students not only know about corona infections but they also should have intercultural communication skills and know how to build rapport with people in rural and urban area.
