It is attractive to the younger generation as a way to connect. Thus they grow up not knowing all the social interaction skills since they are glued to Facebook much of the time. Facebook also has done its share of damage to elections and accepting political advertisements (most of which are false stories about the opponent) from candidates. Facebook should stay away from politics and must take a greater role in policing what is posted there such as doctored videos and false information. I am sure people are ready to pounce on regular media like TV or radio when they report something which is not fact-based. Facebook should also be held to higher standards including protecting the privacy of its members.
