I agree with the previous two answers by Prof. Dr. Michael John McAleer (an hour ago) and Prof. Dr.Chia-Lin Chang (30 minutes ago). Namely, generally, the concept of a future is (by definition) a stochastic (random) processs!
Thinking about future is good, if the thinking is about pursuing some good achievements in future or making future plans about studies but it can prove bad if the person fantasizes much about future, than it can prove worse. But overthinking is bad for health as well as for mind and can lead a person to depression.
I envy a little those who managed to plan their distant future so clearly that they practically meet no obstacles while following the road to it. Can such a life be called serenely happy? As to me - such life-path is of little interest. During the Life, one is overcoming countless difficulties - which usually arise suddenly and which are often impossible to foresee.
