Some research areas are interdisciplinary by nature. Hence, authors may find themselves having to write in areas outside their traditional specialty, not necessarily out of preference, but because the research topic demands it.

Yes ,my speciality( public health) is interconnected to various other specialities . Prevention is an integral component in medicine, paediatrics,obsteterics .Even mental health issues of the community is closely linked to psychiatry .As statistics is important part of our subject , we may integrate and collabrate with other specialities in getting meaningful analysis of their day to day practice raw data.
Yes. I am interested in developing a school education, which is connected to matters of life. The education system that would inculcate in students a questioning mind, life values, social awareness & responsibilities and aptitude to apply knowledge and skills in real life situations.
It is not too much to ask for, our ancient Indian education system had followed these principles. We need to revive these systems, modify relevantly to suit today's technical intelligences and make education an applied science.
