I work for a company called Novabiosis a division of Promethera Biosciences. We have partnerships with over 95% of the Organ Procurement Organizations (OPO’s) in the US (which is the source of the livers for our therapeutic programs), and many of them have reached out to us to ask if we could help place non-transplantable organs from them to various third-party researchers. As a result, we have been placing non-transplantable lungs, livers, kidney’s, hearts, intestines, etc to many third-party researchers over the past year, with much success both to the research community and the OPO community.
