Hi. I like steel structures, but this can be a crime. Be careful.

I felt so glad that many people appeared in my area to follow me, so I also began to follow them. However, when I saw some news / published works from some colleagues (i.e. I mean Mechanical Engineers), in my RG area, I began to think and understand that I had done a big mistake again.

About 30y ago, I changed my life and dedicated all my forces to Steel Structures Engineering, with direct link to the Civil Engineers. Nevertheless, even doing the Specialization, MSc, DSc and post-doc works in this area of knowledge, several appeared to follow me, from my bachelor area, while all I could say to them was "don't follow me", "don't do the same mistake I already did".

Firstly, I'm not interested in anything of Mechanical Engineering today, sorry to say that. This is because I don't work in this area anymore. But the RG site insists in throw me back to the area. Please, if you come here, you don't follow to me, if you are a Mechanical Engineer, thank you.

In the second place, and worst thing, the Civil Engineers and their staff don't like us from other area, no matter what we do (i.e. I did), no matter the more than 400 steel structures projects I developed in the past, and that became real constructions. This doesn't mean a thing! I know you and understand you.

I beg you please to don't be envy nor hurted by me when I'm writing or doing something in your Civil engineering, as the case of steel structures. If I have time or two lives, I'll go to bachelor course again, only to make you hate me or despise me, a little less. But I cannot do it. All I still have conditions to do is to show you my works, which I'm sure can help you and your colleagues enough.

I had suffered all my life, trying to make best, and to give the most I could, for the steel structures development, their solutions, assuming dangerous risks, reading the most I could, to improve, to be certain and qualifyed to the job. I know today, that this never will be enough, because first of all, I'm not a Civil Engineer. This damn error will follow me wherever I go, and whatever I do, will never fix it. For this reason, I beg you please, sorry me. It is what is left for me.

And for the others, don't commit the same error I did. If you really like steel structures- like me -change your bachelor course to Civil Engineerin as fast as you can. I guarantee that you'll not be in the hell that I lived; eventhough the steel structures was my paradise and hapiness. I could go furth -if I only - had follow this tip before.

It is too late now, and I can't change the mind of these Civil Engineers, who seem to defend their own territory, and look me as a invader always. In the past, these knowledge were from both engineerings with different usage. I made the big mistake of cross the line. I figure this thing now, and hope that you forgive me.

Thank you so much.
