I want to optimize the optical material properties(in particular the refractive index for a material itself), Would the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) be good enough to optimize the value of the refractive index, for example, if I have a material that its refractive index of 4 and we want that refractive index to be changed to 3.65 for example, Can we optimize the value of the refractive index using the PSO method?
