As part of my PhD research (that investigates the topic of tangible interaction in museum from a design perspective), I am collecting examples in which Tangible User Interfaces (TUIs) are used in the museum context (or more in general, in the cultural heritage field) in order to write a state of the art.

For those of you, who are not experts in this specific topic, by TUIs I refer to multimedia interactive installations in museums where people are asked to interact with interactive material objects. For instance:

-  Tangible Augmented Reality, consisting in virtual objects attached to physically manipulable objects, like in http://arlab.nl/project/smart-replicas-research-project, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n484_DFDdqA

- Tangible Tabletop, where physical objects can be manipulated upon a multi-touch surface; like in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUlp30uTw6U

- Embodied User Interfaces (sensorized objects) where physical object are integrated with digital content, like in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQbdn2NVlls

Unfortunately, only few experimentations have been published in journals and conference proceedings, but I think that many other examples do exist around the world.

If you happened to see them, can you please inform me about them?

The information I need are at least:

- Location (museum name, city, country, website)

- a short description, photo (if available)

- if you read of it in a publication just send me the reference.

Thank you very much. Of course you will be mentioned in the acknowledgement of my publications/dissertation.
