In visiting Machu Picchu in Peru, I was amazed of the actions toward sustainability for crops, livestock, drinking water, protection, although a picture does not necessarily explain all this. Pictures of homes along coast or floodplains built on piers is a modification to help ensure sustainability. During historic times, castles or the Great Wall of China were built for protection from war or invasion. In tornado alley, some homes had adjacent storm shelters built underground. In wildfire hazard zones, homes built of concrete with tile roofing exhibits prudence. People on boats or open water sports wearing life vests might be another example. A person carrying a rifle or bear pepper spray in grizzley bear habitat. A rattle snake with hiker wearing snake boots or chaps. A dam with the emergency spillway included in picture. A mountain climber with rope tether equipment. It would take some searching, and some more obvious examples than others. Hire a painter, take a lesson or use a camera.

Thanks William, so many examples and some would work with a camera. I'd love to be a painter, but it is perhaps too late and there are too many other things to do. Today, I went to see the work of a great painter, Munch, and found it very moving. But he didn't know much about prudence. Hopefully, someone will have examples of pictures.
