I ask this question because I'd like to start a research project regarding the Speech Act Theory and its representations on social media-related texts (posts, tweets, etc.). So far I've only found a couple dissertations explaining their methodological procedure on analyzing tweets during a specific period of time.

Write in Google, without inverted commas speech act theory and corpus linguistics. A large number of papers and books will come up. Personally, I think that at least part of your research must involve a corpus, to ensure that you have a large amount of naturally occurring data. (Un saludo desde España.
