The AM0 model should be adequate, for most purposes.
Note, the Apollo spectrometer (IIRC) did not measure total fluence but was looking for fluorescence of gaseous species;

It seems that people are quite happy to use the raw solar spectrum as modelled by some tool (here, MODTRAN4). That ought to convince a revierwer.
