I'm giving the definition of engineering design working on in below.
Engineering design is a systematic, intelligent process in which designers generate, evaluate, and specify concepts for devices, systems, or processes whose form and function achieve clients’ objectives or users’ needs while satisfying a specified set of constraints (Dym et al. 2005).
I have found some papers on engineering design and attaching ones my message. But, they are prepared for pure industrial usages and mainly focusing on devices. I'm wondering the adaptation of this design approach defined above for forestry systems and processes.
Do you know any paper investigated engineering design focusing on forestry examples?
