I understand x rays are proven and standardized but it won't be feasible in our clinical setup.

We use CAPTIV software (by TEA) to analyse inclinometer / 3-D accelerometer MOTION sensor data as well as video. We use RULA and OREGE typically to define significant deviations.

Nancy mentioned you, three valid alternatives to use as tools in your measurements. I am seeing that your basic profession is a physiotherapist and as I am also, I very sincerely want to express that in my 28 years of professional life, no computer software tool has given me better results than the radiographs in antero projections / later, left and right side, taking pictures on millimeter grid and detailed observation of each case in particular. Then if you want to use tools Human and Quinovea programs, they provide you with several interesting measurement possibilities, but that I repeat you will never replace in accuracy the taking of joint amplitudes with goniometer for example. Excuse me but I am very traditional in my evaluations and believe me it has given me excellent results. I say goodbye to your orders.
