I am looking for a good replacement ground electrode (Ag/AgCl pellet) for the original HLA-003 from Mol. Devices/Axon. Has anyone got experience with other brands like Science Products (#E215P) or WPI (#EP1)?
Jean-Francois provided you with the right link indeed! Also, you might like to consider an agar-bridge which for many reasons not discussed here is more reliable than the Ag/AgCl pellet.
we use electrode (Ag/AgCl Electrode Pellet) fom WPI (model EP05, 0.5 mm diameter) without troubles, although not with Axon but Biologic amplifier. I can recommend it.
I see this is an old thread, but I hope someone can give me a hint on how to deal with en EP05 electrode from WPI. I ordered it and when it arrived I understood that I actually have not thought of how to use it in practice - without breaking or introducing errors to the readings. (I have only used macro reference electrodes connected to the cell/surface to analyze through an salt bridge).
There is mentioned "soldering", and covering a part of the electrode with a heat shrink tube. Can you give me some hints on the soldering part etc? And do you insert these electrodes directly into the solution where you do the measurement of interest?
