I'm conducting research on cultural events as a resource for managing tourism demand in the off-season. Can you suggest me some research and above all know best practices of cultural events that generate tourist flow even in low season?
It may be worth looking to Singapore and their approach to promoting and organising cultural events to draw in tourist throughout the year. As a multicultural, multi racial society they use their combined cultural heritage effectively to offer a year long calendar of events which highlight the amazing diversity in the city state. Festivals include Chinese New Year, Mid Autumn Festival, Deepavali and many more, there is something every month. The government has a visit Singapore website with some good information https://www.visitsingapore.com/festivals-events-singapore/
Look into festivals, film, jazz, folk. I volunteer at a few events that impact local economies. In Rehoboth Beach, Delaware both the film and jazz festivals provide increased revenues and tourism during the shoulder, off-season months. The national folk festival in Salisbury, MD also provides a big economic boost.
Take a look at Cudny's research - you can find on ResearchGate

I would like to know, if possible, if there are researches that measure the visitor's expectations and his experience in relation to the consumption of food and drink on site, to the purchase of handicraft products
