We want examples and techniques for visualizing data and information on how to effectively communicate with data. Storytelling is not an inherent skill, especially when it comes to data visualization.
That's why it's becoming increasingly important to know how to use the data to create an engaging, informative, and compelling story.
I want to recommend: "Storytelling with Data", a book by Cole Nussbaumer Knaflic. It’s available from the Seattle Public Library (https://seattle.bibliocommons.com/item/show/3145771030_storytelling_with_data) see the link in brackets
I also like Cole Nussbaumer Knaflic's Book an use it with my students, other recommendations are "The Truthful Art: Data, Charts, and Maps for Communication" Alberto Cairo. Also very good but less focused on "storytelling" are Steven Few's books such as "Information Dashboard Design" https://books.google.co.uk/books/about/Information_Dashboard_Design.html?id=7k0EnAEACAAJ&redir_esc=y&hl=en a. I must also mention Tufte's classic "The Visual Display of Quantitative Information" .
