Thank you Cicero! I think that if we gather the current literature on this issue, we will have the opportunity to shed light into the "dark" sides of the widely used instruments.
I'm interested in the project. The concept of motor competence is very large, perhaps thinking theoretically in the concept of competence would help us to improve the tools available at moment. More contemporary statistical procedures such as item response theory and network analysis may help us to standardize some instruments, such as the TGMD-3 and the Pictorial Scale of Perceived Movement Skill Competence in some countries.
