what do you mean by "fear of circumcision ceases within 10 days"? As far as I know, circumcision results in short-(and perhaps long-)term changes in the HPA system, for instance cortisol.

• Newborn males respond to circumcision with a marked reduction in oxygena- tion during the procedure, a cortisol surge, decreased wakefulness, increased vagal tone, and less interaction with their environment following the procedure
• There is a 50% increase over the baseline in heart rate in males undergoing the procedure and an increase in level of blood cortisol by a factor of three or more times has been recorded
• serum cortisol levels increased sharply immediately following infant circumcision and remained elevated for sev- eral days

Fear of the child himself. We checked the fear by visual scales. Hormonal changes may also be checked. You are right.

When was performed (age children) circumcision? 

So the child shows fear towards himself?

Mean age was around 7 years
