Simulations are also used in foreign languages teaching. It belongs to the “production part”, that follows the “reception“ and “conceptualisation“ ones. It consists in guiding the learners to act in a situation that demands to use language skills that have been learnt. Most of the time, the situation contents a context and a problem.
It helps learners to adquire them in their active dimension, and/or teachers to check wether these contents have been acquired or not.

Si la aplico en la simulación de procesos geométricos, entre otros temas de la matemática. En la programación de ellas, los estudiantes aplican y comprenden mejor los conceptos en estudio. Por ejemplo la simulación de procesos dinámicos (muchos de ellos cotidianos) les ayuda a desarrollar una forma de pensamiento "variacional" y comprenden que la matemática no es estática, tiene precisamente una dinámica que le permite modelar ciertos aspectos de la realidad
