The modules emphasize the importance of patient engagement and effective communication towards safer, patient-centric and informed care. Look at health literacy dyads- like:Health literacy and heart failure management in patient-caregiver dyads. There are other studies out there. The thought is, the ability of one individual to provide health information to another is mediated by the health literacy levels of both participants.
