Success doesn’t rely on a piece of paper. It is the actions you can take to achieve your dreams and goals in life. If that means attending college to receive a 4 year degree, then awesome. If that means doing on the job training and studying or self-education to get a license or certification, then that’s great too.

Its a really really realistic question never can be answered.
In my opinion and experience many people they do not have any degree but they are able to realise themselves and they are happy in their life. In this case I think we do not need to be degreed for being successfull but we need it to certify that we are professional practitioners of something.
Sometimes the document is enough for a good impression or belief @ @ @ but sometimes document and practice together also seems to be insufficient.
Our world is a world of degrees. Parents think that their kids need to have degrees in order to be success in their life. That is why we have a lot of students at universities without goals in their life. They come to be here but not for learning.
Tell me please if you think something different.

I totally agree with you. Some people are successful in their life without university degree. In the other side, some have university degree but they are unsuccessful.
And probably it means that a university degree is not a basic condition for being success @
In an answer to your question Dear Dr. Aieman (Do we need a four- year college degree to success?) I shall say: Not necssarily. I knew a man in 1972 who went to Italy in order to study medicine but he did not like that specialization. Instead, he switched into studying photography over 2 years & obtained a diploma and then came to Amman to open a shop called (Color Center) at the first circle of Jabal Amman. Color photography was new to the country at that time so many rich persons in Amman & the Kingdom became customers to him & he even showed me photos of members of the Royal Family. He was so successful at that time & accumulated a fortune. I have no idea about him now. However, his story is evidence that success will not necssarily come from 4 or even 6 years college education.
