Due to the differences in the reaction mechanism of various antioxidant assays, it is recommended to conduct multiple antioxidant assays during antioxidant activity evaluation to come up with a good overall picture of the antioxidant potential of a given plant extract. Is there a minimum number of antioxidant assays that should be conducted in antioxidant activity evaluation? Which in vitro antioxidant assay can best mimic the in vivo model?
