There appeared some time ago and also recently  research   articles speculatively confirming the  superluminar solutions  for electromagnetic waves in vacuum -

Z.Ya. Turakulov, Turkish Journal of Physics, 18, 479, 1994; 19, 1567,1995; J. Jeom. Physics, 14, 35, 1994

Sergey Yu. Medvedev. Superluminal Velocities in the Synchronized Space-Time.  PROGRESS IN PHYSICS Volume 10, N3,  (2014), p. 151, Volume 1 PROGRESS IN PHYSICS January, 2012

Florentin Smarandache. Superluminal Physics and Instantaneous Physics as New Trends in Research.    PROGRESS IN PHYSICS, 1, 2012, p. L8

 W. A. Rodrigues Jr. and J. E. Maiorino, Superluminal Wave Motion and the Foundations of Relativity and Quantum Theory (in preparation) etc,

as well a very interesting article on the related topic:

Edward Kapu´scik. On a Fatal Error in Tachyonic Physics. arXiv:1412.6010v1 [physics.gen-ph] 10 Aug 2013

and some others. What is, in reality,  confirmed by experiments? Are these solutions observable, or they are simply artifacts?
