Beer - Lambert law is for any absorption media, but instruments which is used for the measurements might provide complex response and the validity of the law would not be obvious. For solids I would expect a problem with a reflection from surface which might be difficult to take into account.
You may use x ray absorption measurements and you will find that in limits beyond nearly full x ray absorption Lambert Beer law is obeyed.
The Beer-Lambert law applies only in dilute solution so a solid will not obey the Beer Lambet law.
However you can measure a reflectance spectrum of your sample

it always depends on energy of radiation and adsorption coefficient, i.e. the material properties.
For example it applies, of course in limits, at 350 nm you will find a linear dependence of extinction on thickness of a slice of glass.
The Beer Lambert "law" is an empirical relation meant for low concentration liquids; so the answer is no. For some useful tips, look at the text Solar Energy Thermal Processes (Chapter 6) by Duffie and Beckman. They look at this problem in terms of designing covers over solar absorbing plates.
