Specialized journals are the number 1 choice. Has any scientist had an article published in a book? When is it good to publish an article in a book, instead of in a journal?

I thank you for your excellent reply. You make a good point because I did not realize that in the academic disciplines in the sciences, it takes longer for a chapter in a book to be published than for a journal article. In fact, I had gotten the impression that scientists publish the majority of their work in online formats!
Now that I think about it, the sciences are optimally concerned with the physical world of concrete, measurable reality. This suggests that a book carries intrinsic value as a landmark of enduring relevance. Congratulations to you!

Journal is shorter time while books required further details than journal and no limits for words or figures as in journal.
