Modern medium -high end segment ovens and hobs can be full of great features like added or full steam, cooking faster with added micro, AI estimation of finishing time when using meatprobe and other sensor assisted functions.
My assumption is the average consumer does not particularly benefit from these features.
I'd appreciate inputs on this topic, to back some statements in my spring exam at OsloMet.
In my opinion, you are right. Some kitchen appliances (and not only the ones for cooking for example) are overloaded with features that could be "niche". It is also important to note that not every consumer is aware of every available feature in kitchen appliances. How often do you really use every feature that comes with your oven?
