I submitted an manuscript to the journal Dental Hypotheses. Initially I read the instructions to author there was no mention about APC. Upon submission of the revised manuscript I received an email from the editor that the manuscript is accepted and pay APC $500 through cryptocurrency translation. I then checked the journal submission website to see the status of the manuscript it was still mentioned as " In decision" or pending and under the tab of APC requested there were no manuscript. I was surprised whether this could be a scam and sent an email to the editor and did not get any response yet. I have attached the PDF which I received by email for payment of APC for your kind reference and also the instructions to author where there is no mention of APC.

Crypto is still illegal in many parts of the world though a few businesspersons are investing in Crypto, and most of the people related to education and research are not rich people, so they do not have Cryptos. However, I received many emails every week and no one offered this option to pay in Crypto.
It is better to keep in touch with the editor of the journal by email that is mentioned on their website. It is a common practice to receive an email from the editor when a paper is accepted for publication.

Try contacting authors of previously published articles in the journal. Find out whether they encountered similar problems. Maybe, you are being scammed by a third party.
Thank you Michael for your response. I had previously published in this journal buy I had paid as an account transfer in Indian rupees which was mentioned in the instructions to author. This time it was unusual and I also tried to contact the publisher but in vain.
