Yes, solar insolation has a significant impact on sea turtles during the nesting and hatchling of juveniles. Most of the time mass nesting as well as hatchling occurs during mid-night to early morning as per my observation. Particularly hatchling occurs during the early morning.

I am assuming that for texture you refer to size, shape, and arrangement of individual particles that make up sediment. It is determined by the combination of sediment particle sizes, such as sand, silt, and clay, and their proportions within a given sediment sample. There may be varying opinions among environmental researchers who study sea turtles regarding the specific influence of coastal sediment texture on the nesting and hatching success of sea turtles. Probably, texture can be related somewhat directly to shore dynamycs, dymamics of water content in daily, seasonal scales and and then to solar insolation and heat content....you know, from survival to sex determination, but probably these operate from egg-laying, to incubation, to hatching. Ehole lotta variables, try to refine your hypothesis. At least a lot of individual variables are needed to describe sediment texture, from mean grain size to Kurtosis...good luck! (also, any given variable varies wildly at small spatial and temporal scales)
