I couldn't find any information or articles about it. Does anyone know if carborane acids react to these specific inorganic salts: chlorides, bromides, iodides, or thiocyanates?
Please also tell me where you get the info from, that would really help me.

In liquid SO2 solution, the strength of carborane acids has been compared to some common mineral acids. So, the inorganic salts especially those belong to thiocyanate may react with the superacid. Please find the attached file which may help you.
Dear Yuepeng Alex Yang , it certainly depends on the acid strength (which I don't know) of your carborane acids, which I assume are carboxylic acids (?). If they are strong acids, they could perhaps liberate thiocyanic acid form thiocyanates. Besides, I would expect that no reactions will take place because both the carborane acids and ionorganic salts are neutral.
Thank you Dr. Edelmann, I wasn't quite sure. The carborane acid is specifically HCFB11F11, which is a very acidic superacid: pKa of -46. They are only soluble (so far) to liquid SO2 and SO2 has to be impurified with inorganic salts of chloride, bromide, iodide, or thiocyanate for conduction. However, I wasn't sure if HCFB11F11 would react to those inorganic salts.
