I agree with Mr.Marco regarding the use of Macrolophus but first of all, where is your location?? is warm or cold country ??? cause : At low temperatures Macrolophus develops very slowly., second thing i think it's better to start by removing down leaves to avoid pupation than using yellow trap for monitoring and in case the infestation increases i think it's better to use parasioids such as Encarsia formosa or Eretmocerus eremicus depending of your location. as for me E.eremicus gave me good result in warm condition .
Regarding your question about basil in cucumber greenhouse, i was controlling wf in medicinal plant where basil was grown too, it's presence didn't decrease the number of wf, i had to use Chrysopa carnea and my plant where away of pesticides for three months
I agree with dr. Azzedine Ouldbeziou, Encarsia formosa or Eretmocerus eremicus work well but problem is temperature that occasionally affect the sex ratio, we have good expression of Chrysopa carnea as suggested by him later .
